So ask me anything and I’ll try to answer coherently.

Is that how long you anticipate it will be running?

I am interested in this car but i’m wondering how it would be for a daily. Like could you fit a luggage bag or a decent amount of groceries inside this car or is that a complete no go like an Elise?

Do you pour milk first or cereal first?

Has your boner lasted for more than four hours and have you consulted your doctor about this?

Can I have it?

Why isn't it sold with a fucking manual
![]() 09/20/2016 at 13:14 |

Did you steal it?
Can i have it?
How do you like your meat cooked?
Are you bored?
Can you bring me food?

Only savages pour milk first.

Because then it might be reliable. Can’t have that.

How much of a hassle is the soft top to remove? I know it’s manually operated, but there seems to be more margin for error seeing as you have to roll/unroll it (vs my Vette where it’s simple to clip into place, even if it eats trunk space).
I only ask b/c there are times I’d love to drive with the top down, but know I’ll just have to put it back on again 10 minutes later, so I don’t bother.

rearward visibility is supposedly crap - what’s the view from the rear view mirror look like?
Support for my question provided by the lack of rearward visibility with the top down in the Abarth. Real shot of what you see in the rear view mirror

Can you do a lot of normal people things and then say what changes to these normal people things you had to do because you were in a 4C and not a normal car? Like for example having to reach up to get your McDonalds Drive Thru order because of how low it is?

Should I be sad that I didn’t wait to buy one because I was so sick of all the delays and then the outrageous markup of the “launch edition”?

How did you get so lucky?
Does yours have the optional larger wheels that supposedly make the suspension to harsh?
How big is the trunk?
How fun is it?
Is the cup holder reachable while driving?
Do you prefer the radio or the engine noises while driving it?

Just that is it really good to drive. We have all seen how little comfort it has, we know that. The only one I’ve seen here in SF was pulled over by the CHP, so maybe it is fun to drive!

I'd be happy with a celibate manual, myself..

At 6' (and not so bendy as I used to (never) be) it's a bit of an exercise to get myself in and out, but it's much easier with the top off. My wife laughed hysterically watching me go through the ingress/egress process. It's comical. There's a small space behind the motor you could fit a decent size gym bag; it's 3.7 cu ft. And the front hood doesn't open, so you're limited to what you can carry.

The soft top is simple to remove; two sliding release levers on each side and two quarter-turn screw thingies that connect the top to the windshield header. Then just roll it up and toss it in the trunk. Putting it back on is almost as quick.

that’s interesting I would have thought the front would have decent space but not openable at all is weird lmao

Sergio bought one of my Ferragamo sweaters on Ebay; we've stayed close ever since. The press car does have the optional larger wheels, 18"/19" staggered. Trunk is 3.7 cu ft. Fun factor? Except for the lingering thought of driving an Italian quasi-exotic that at any moment might self-immolate (no fire ext onboard) the car pegs my personal Fun Meter. Cup holder? Are you kidding? The radio is an inexpensive aftermarket unit. For $72k I'd expect better. I leave it off and listen to the turbo whine and blowoff valve. It sounds like a super loud fart when you're romping on it.

I'm kinda curious to know what's under there. Can't imagine there's no open space.

No wood. I'd guess that might take a Huracan or 488.
![]() 09/20/2016 at 15:28 |

Yep, the vis ain't the greatest but adjusting the side mirrors outward is essential. The press car has a backup sensor which helps a lot. Not much depth of field with the rear mirror; all it tells you is if there's somebody there or not.

It does have a spartan interior, but the seats are more comfortable than some I've experienced. Like in the Mustang GT and Mitsu Evo. This car was made for tracks and back roads. Highway cruising is kinda dull.

What did you end up buying? Dealer markup - "market adjustment" I think they call it is BS. There's never been a car I've wanted bad enough to pay through the nose for.

2014 Roush Stage 3 Mustang. Then used the leftover money to later help buy my daily, a 2013 XF-RS. :)

I've given up on medium, as the cooks around here always go on the rare side. So, medium-well it is. *le sigh*

Nice. I dig the FRB on the Jag, but liked it better on the Mustang as Grabber Blue. Fun cars ya got there. Can I be your friend?

Have you done the skirt/heels test?
I’m thinking it can’t be that bad because the sill is part of the load-bearing structure and can be used to sit on and pivot.

Would you kindly park in my garage? I’ll give you a ride anywhere you need to go from here.

Absolutely love it. Although it is harder to find an acceptable parking spot than when I was driving around an Altima with a bike rack on the back of it!
